कटनी।। माधवनगर पुलिस ने जुआ और क्रिकेट सट्टा जैसे अपराधों पर प्रभावी कार्रवाई करते हुए अपराधियों के खिलाफ सख्त कदम उठाए। इन कार्रवाइयों का उद्देश्य केवल आरोपियों पर कार्रवाई करना अवैध गतिविधियों पर नकेल कसने और अपराधियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्यवाही के तहत वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के निर्देशन और मार्गदर्शन में थाना माधवनगर ने उल्लेखनीय सफलता प्राप्त की है। थाना प्रभारी निरीक्षक अनूप सिंह ठाकुर के नेतृत्व में थाना माधवनगर पुलिस ने अवैध जुआ और सट्टा गतिविधियों पर सख्त कार्रवाई करते हुए 61 जुआ प्रकरणों में 9,05,475 नकद और 95 सट्टा एक्ट के मामलों में 18 लाख मूल्य का मशरूका जप्त किया। इसमें क्रिकेट सट्टे के दौरान एक थार गाड़ी, 8 मोबाइल फोन सहित अन्य सामग्री भी जप्त की गई।
