Indore Lokayukta arrested an education department officer red-handed while accepting a ₹20,000 bribe for school recognition extension. The officer demanded money in exchange for a physical verification report. The anti-corruption team acted swiftly, exposing corruption in the education sector. Authorities are investigating further links in the case.
इंदौर लोकायुक्त (Indore Lokayukta) ने मंगलवार को एक शिक्षा विभाग के अधिकारी को रिश्वत लेते हुए रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार किया। लोकायुक्त डीएसपी सुनील तालान ने बताया कि मंगलवार सुबह आशुतोष सैनी ने लोकायुक्त कार्यालय में शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी। शिकायत में बताया गया कि वह रामकृष्ण परमहंस विद्यालय के संचालक हैं और उन्होंने स्कूल की मान्यता तीन साल बढ़ाने के लिए शिक्षा विभाग में आवेदन किया था।
हालांकि, इस आवेदन की भौतिक सत्यापन रिपोर्ट के बदले विकासखंड स्रोत समन्वयक (BRC) अधिकारी माता प्रसाद गौड़ ने ₹20,000 की रिश्वत मांगी थी। लोकायुक्त टीम ने मामले की पुष्टि के बाद जाल बिछाया और आरोपी को रिश्वत लेते हुए रंगे हाथ पकड़ लिया।
