कटनी। जिले में शिक्षा विभाग की कार्यप्रणाली पर एक बार फिर सवालिया निशान लग गया है। जिला पंचायत की सामान्य सभा की बैठक में सदन द्वारा जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी पृथ्वी पाल सिंह और जिला शिक्षा केंद्र के जिला परियोजना समन्वयक के के डेहरिया के खिलाफ निंदा प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया है। डीईओ श्री सिंह द्वारा अधूरी और असत्य जानकारी प्रस्तुत करते हुए सदन को गुमराम करने की कोशिशि की गई। जिसको लेकर जिला पंचायत सदस्यों ने ऐतराज जताया। जाननकारी के मुताबिक सामान्य सभा की बैठक के लिए सदस्यों द्वारा जो जानकारी मांगी गई थी, विभाग के अधिकारियों द्वारा वो जानकारी नहीं दी गई, बल्कि जवाब में कई बिंदुओं की जानकारी असत्य पाई गई। इसको लेकर सदन ने एकमतेन होकर डीईओ के खिलाफ निंदा प्रस्ताव पारित कर दिया। सामान्य सभा की बैठक में हुए इस घटनाक्रम के बाद अब डीईओ एवं डीपीसी पर कार्रवाई की तलवार लटक रही है। अब देखना यह है कि जिला प्रशासन और राज्य सरकार द्वारा इस मामले में अधिकारियों के खिलाफ क्या कार्रवाई की जाती है। इसके अलावा बैठक में अनुपस्थित लोक निर्माण विभाग की कार्यपालन अभियंता शारदा सिंह के खिलाफ भी निंदा प्रस्ताव पारित करते हुए कार्यवाही प्रस्तावित की गई है। जिला पंचायत सभाकक्ष में सामान्य सभा की बैठक अध्यक्ष श्रीमती सुनीता बाई मेहरा, उपाध्यक्ष अशोक विश्वकर्मा एवं सीईओ शिशिर गेमावत की मौजूदगी में शुरू हुई। बैठक के प्रारंभ में सदस्यों ने पिछली सामान्य सभा की बैठक के पालन प्रतिवेदन के संबंध में विभागीय अधिकारियों से जानकारी मांगी गई। अधिकारियों द्वारा जो जानकारी दी गई, उससे सदस्य संतुष्ट नहीं रहे। देर शाम तक चली बैठक में जिला पंचायत के आय व्यय, मनरेगा के लेबर बजट निर्धारित एजेंडा के अनुसार उपार्जन, कृषि, मत्स्य पालन, विद्युत एवं शिक्षा विभाग के अंतर्गत संचालित योजनाओं एवं गतिविधियों की विस्तार से समीक्षा हुई।
