In a shocking act of defiance, illegal sand miners attacked forest officials in Morena with stones, injuring two and damaging vehicles. The incident occurred while officials were transporting a seized tractor involved in sand smuggling. Despite the attack, officials ensured the vehicle reached the police station.
MP मुरैना। जिले के देवगढ़ थाना क्षेत्र में अवैध रेत खनन रोकने गई वन विभाग की टीम पर हमलावरों ने पथराव कर दिया। इस हमले में वन विभाग के दो कर्मचारी घायल हो गए, वहीं विभाग के दो वाहन भी क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए।
घटना शनिवार देर रात की है, जब वन विभाग की टीम ने एक ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली को रेत के अवैध परिवहन में पकड़ा और पुलिस थाने ले जाया जा रहा था। इसी दौरान पुलिया के पास छिपे हमलावरों ने टीम पर पथराव कर दिया।
वन विभाग के उपविभागीय अधिकारी (एसडीओ) भूरा गायकवाड़ ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया, “हमले के बावजूद टीम ने साहस दिखाते हुए ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली को सुरक्षित पुलिस थाने पहुंचाया।”
पुलिस ने इस मामले में ट्रैक्टर मालिक समेत छह अज्ञात लोगों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया है और आगे की जांच जारी है।
