भोपाल-: आज दिनांक 24 दिसंबर 2024 ,मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव से आज राजधानी भोपाल स्थित भाजपा कार्यालय में बौद्ध धम्मगुरु भंते शाक्यपुत्र सागर थेरो और भंते राहुलपुत्र ने शिष्टाचार भेंट की। इस अवसर पर बौद्ध धर्मगुरुओं ने मुख्यमंत्री को उनके सामाजिक और आध्यात्मिक कार्यों के लिए बधाई दी और आशीर्वाद प्रदान किया।
भंते शाक्यपुत्र सागर थेरो ने बताया कि हाल ही में उन्होंने संविधान दिवस के अवसर पर लंदन स्थित अंबेडकर हाउस जाकर बाबासाहेब डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर को पुष्प अर्पित कर श्रद्धांजलि दी थी। इसके साथ ही, उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव की इस बात के लिए विशेष सराहना की कि वे महा बोधि महाविहार और बोधि वृक्ष बोधगया में बुद्ध वंदना में शामिल होकर भिक्षु संघ का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने वाले मध्य प्रदेश के पहले मुख्यमंत्री बने।
भंते शाक्यपुत्र सागर थेरो ने मुख्यमंत्री को बुद्ध रूप और लंदन स्थित अंबेडकर हाउस की तस्वीर भेंट कर उनके कार्यों को सम्मानित किया।
भंते शाक्यपुत्र सागर थेरो ने मुख्यमंत्री को आगामी 26 जनवरी 2025 को आयोजित होने वाले 9वें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बौद्ध मेले में शामिल होने के लिए औपचारिक निमंत्रण दिया। यह मेला वैश्विक बौद्ध समुदाय को एक मंच पर लाने का प्रयास है, जहां विश्वभर से बौद्ध धर्मगुरु, विद्वान, और अनुयायी एकत्रित होकर शांति, करुणा और समानता के संदेश को आगे बढ़ाएंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने निमंत्रण को सहर्ष स्वीकार करते हुए कहा कि बौद्ध धम्म का शांति, करुणा और समानता का संदेश आज के समाज में और अधिक प्रासंगिक है। राज्य सरकार बौद्ध स्थलों के विकास, संरक्षण और पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए हरसंभव प्रयास कर रही है।
यह महत्वपूर्ण मुलाक़ात सद्भाव, शांति और भाईचारा को मजबूत करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम साबित होगी।
