Lokayukt arrested Gohparu Panchayat Secretary Mangal Yadav in Shahdol while accepting ₹1,000 bribe for issuing an NOC to install an electricity meter. He had already taken ₹500 earlier. The complainant reported the demand of ₹1,500, following which the Lokayukt laid a trap and caught the officer red-handed.
MP संवाद, शहडोल। जिले में भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए लोकायुक्त पुलिस ने गोहपारू ग्राम पंचायत के सचिव मंगल यादव को ₹1,000 की रिश्वत लेते रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार किया है।
शिकायतकर्ता देवेंद्र सिंह ने लोकायुक्त को बताया कि सचिव ने बिजली मीटर लगवाने के लिए ग्राम पंचायत की NOC जारी करने के बदले ₹1,500 की रिश्वत मांगी थी। पहले ₹500 एडवांस ले लिए गए थे और ₹1,000 की शेष राशि लेने के लिए सचिव ने बुलाया था।
लोकायुक्त की टीम ने योजना बनाकर ट्रैप किया और सचिव को रंगे हाथ पकड़ लिया।
